This is GREAT! According to this, one of my favorite manga of all time, Skip Beat!, will be animated for the Fall Season of 2008.
At first I heard that there was going to be a Taiwanese Skip Beat! drama starring Jerry Yan (MG) and Ariel Lin (ISWAK). I was really worried because, well, no offense to the Taiwanese, but they usuallymurder botch up manga when they adapt it to a drama. Take Hana Kimi, for instance. And Meteor Garden 2 LOL. XD
Anyway, this is great because as far as I can see from the upcoming 2008 Summer Anime Season, there's really nothing to look forward to. However, if they're gonna give us a fantastic line-up for the Fall Season (after Spring Season's awesomeness), it's going to be worth the wait.
Rumors of this all-star line-up for fall include sequels for Nodame Cantabile, Jigoku Shoujo, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, Clannad, Kodomo no Jikan, Hayate no Gotoku and Rosario + Vampire, as well as a set of highly anticipated new anime.
I honestly didn't expect a sequel for Nodame. I guess the anime was so incredibly successful that they had to do one. :D
