Oh, lots of potentially good anime for this season. I'll just download everything I feel like downloading, especially since I don't see my "partner" being able to finish everything she wants to download for the sake of her "fandom", thus sacrificing all possibility of anime downloads. Haha, you know who you are. XD It's ok though, I've got speed enough for the both of us. :D

Just finished reading the latest scanlated chapter of Yamada Tarou Monogatari. And aoimidori was right. After reading the manga, I now feel that the drama isn't up to par with the crack. And I feel that Sho as Mimu is weird because I can't see Sho pulling off that rakish smirk Mimura always shows when it's about Tarou. I wish I'd just finished the drama first, then read the manga.

And zomg. I don't know if it's considered lolicon, but argh! I wanna see the chapter where the grandpa pairs Mimura and Tarou's (9-year-old) sister off in the drama. It's CRACK! And it's soooo sweet. Who cares about the many girls who fall for Tarou when you have a cute MimuraxYoshiko pairing that you can root for. Ahahaha. But I can't see the drama going into that direction, 'coz you know, we're talking about a REAL kid here. Sho x Real-little-girl? XD

I went on a download spree of j-pop albums I've recently wanted to download. Some of those are from the doramas I am currently watching (though some are still slated to be released, like Happiness by ARASHI and Hoshikuzu Sunset by YUKI). I've downloaded:

Our internet is going crazy again. The connection is down for two weeks, and when it comes back up, it fluctuates. I think Smart's really got the problem on their end, since I can practically hear legions of subscribers complaining alongside me. The only time these past few days that I was happy about the connection was when our download speed shot up to 60kbps for almost 6 hours. I know it's not much, but it still beats the downtime.

Finally, payday. I shouldn't be this happy, but I've got a TON of bills to pay with no money to pay for them. I don't like being broke; it strips you of all confidence of surviving the next day. And I don't want to hear my dad saying "May trabaho ka na nanghihingi ka pang baon?" (You've already got a job but you're still asking for allowance?). Not that he says it a lot (but I feel really uncomfortable when he does say it), but I wish people would remember that I'm just a student and I'm only doing this job because I want extra money. For myself. For my share of the pad's rent. I'm still wanting my cut-down weekly allowance, thank you. Yeah, I'm selfish, go figure.

Pinipirata na ako. (I'm being pirated. <- LOL, is this even grammatically correct?) I've received text messages from a much better paying, or so I've heard call center, and I'm seriously thinking of resigning from my current job to apply for one at that company. I'm working almost full-time hours now, but I'm not satisfied with the pay. I'm comfortable with the people I work with, but I can't really stay for that reason alone. And regularization is practically a dream, 'coz I've got too many absences to account for. Boo.

Kamichama Karin - Loli crack. This is actually one of the few anime with Loli art that I watched, just because it's totally funny. Sometimes the art is inconsistent, though, but even that is funny.

Romeo x Juliet - Stuck at ep 13. Still drool-worthy. Ehe.


Manga:

Special A - VK is absolute LOVE for releasing 4 chapters of this hilarious manga in a row. Kei, you pitiful beast. Hikari, denseness is NOT a virtue.

Vampire Knight - Can I say man-love now? Can I? Kyaaaa~! Man-biting-man goodnesssssssss~!! Why does Yuuki seem so out of place in that manga? Ahahaha. By God, if Yuuki doesn't end up with Kaname, she doesn't have to end up with anyone at all. KanamexZero is fine by me too. Afufufufufu. ;)


Drama:

Hana Kimi - I loved the adaptation. And the spirit/aura-seeing guy. The guy playing Nanba doesn't feel too right, though. And yes, Oguri Shun is still hot.

I was MarCom head last year. And, during the collection of sponsorship fees, more or less forty seven thousand pesos (in cash and check) passed through my hands (wallet, bag, etc.). I could've touched it, for official reasons that I could've named (transportation, etc.) and would've been valid by FinCom standards. I never did. Why? Because I take the phrase "malversation of funds" quite seriously, thank you.

Now, just WHY am I posting this? Heh. Go figure it out.

chibi_boom, aoimidori, and I went to crux_australis's house a while ago to burn dvds watch JE play badminton. LOL, I should practice more. I seriously suck at it. Or rather, I seemed to have been seeing doubles of that shuttlecock.

Since I posted about it here, I guess I should talk a little about our company outing, too. It was fun, but really, it was more trouble than I had anticipated.

First, my digicam's battery fell out of the pouch, and was never found again. That took 1.5k out of my meager salary. And it was the original battery that went missing, too. Good thing it was payday the day after the outing. Or my Dad would've killed me.

Secondly, the guy I've been...err...targeting, went targeting another girl. LOL. That was ok (since I was used to it), but then, he just had to find out on that exact same day that I had a crush on him (during a truth conference much like the ones in AME...well, not the Collective-Anonymous-bashing-people type XD).

And third (yes, I'm that unlucky), my teammates signed me up on some weird contest. They called it "Fashionista" Award. Go imagine for yourself. And trust me, it was the most embarrassing (but enlightening) experience I ever had in my 19 and half years of existence. Don't ask for pictures. You won't see one. =_=

I've listed the bad things that happened, but it was pretty fun too. I got to bond more with my officemates from the same account. (For some weird reason, almost everybody knows me. I don't even remember half of the names of all the people there.) Our team won the Amazing Race, too. That's 2000 pesos worth of spa gift certificates and 2000 worth of chocolates and snacks. Now that I think about it, since I already sold off my dignity in that Fashionista contest anyway, I should have tried harder to win. The prize was a 3-day 4-night trip to Puerto Galera. How's that for first place? XD

I've been trying out different kinds of shoujo due to intense boredom. I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of some of the Chinese and Korean manhwa I've downloaded. Great art, deep story, unlike some of the shoujo manga I'm used to reading. I'll be reading more Korean and Chinese manhwa, but I'm sticking to the highly rated ones for now.

Recommended:

Real Fake Princess by Yi Huan. (complete)
Can't Lose You by WANN. (complete)
100% Perfect Girl by WANN. (incomplete; HIGHLY recommended)

Just got home from an over-extended stay at keiji13's house and THE PAD. And lookie lookie at what greeted me at the gate. THE MERALCO BILL. I guess it was too much wishful thinking that the electric bill had gone down for this month (I am NEVER introducing anything harmful like online games to my brothers EVER AGAIN). I won't mention the amount, but for those of you to whom I've told what it was last month, it's much MUCH higher than that now. I've warned them over and over again that they should tone down on the playing. I'm not sure if my brothers are just plain stupid or they just don't care. Oh God, have mercy on us when we face the wrath.

I'm also pissed off at my mom. When I was scolding everybody in the house (except my dad, of course, and trust me, it's a weird picture since I'm second to the youngest in the house), she started accusing everybody of what they did that caused such an expensive bill. She said I was using the air conditioner in the afternoon. Well, bitch, we just started using the aircon in our room again. It's been years since we last used it (for power-saving purposes), and I think we at least deserve using it in the afternoon. Besides, it was just a few times. I just couldn't stand the heat after I came home from the office. Frankly, she doesn't have any right. She's the one watching TV the whole time. When she found out I had copies of both seasons of Hana Yori Dango, she pestered me to burn her copies so she could watch them on the DVD player. And when she finished, guess what she did. She watched them all over again. Bitch. She should look at herself first.

I just went through a bummer's weekend. I went ice skating with those dorks from FaMusu (hahaha XD), and shortly after, watched Shrek 3 at Eastwood with keiji13, sorceressran, jellypatch, and Luloy. It's great, by the way. It's worth the 160 pesos I paid for it. Watch it. XD

Onto other things, I've just started watching Twelve Kingdoms on chibi_boom's recommendation. The main girl protagonist, Youko, almost made it to the top of my most hated bitch list (yes, topping even Kikyou, Tomoe, and Mitsuki Rara). Well, almost. She went from useless crybaby to annoying emo during the first few eps, and it was the first time I had an urge to slap a 2D character senseless. Good thing she became a bit more likable as the story progressed. I'm still stuck on episode 8, though, so I don't know if she'll continue on that likable path or not.

La Corda 11 is out after the LONG wait. But I'm not too much into it anymore. Not like RxJ, anyway.

Nobuta wo Produce is next on my to-watch list (because crux_australis is pestering me to watch Pepito XD), as well as both seasons of Honey and Clover. Then I'm going to catch up on my manga. I'm currently spreading Hino Matsuri love. ^o~

Hahahahaha! Ichigo x Orihime fans, don't hate me for this. I was browsing through Bleach discussion sites to know if the pairing I shipped (duh, IchiRuki) was already extinct, and I found this comment on a fan discussion about Bleach. I just couldn't resist putting it here.

Why is NO ONE subbing Saiunkoku Monogatari's Season 2?! There are already 3 episodes out. Even the non-English subs have released them until ep 3. What is wrong with the fansubbing groups? >_<

Shout-out to d.r.e.g.s.s. If there still isn't a group doing this (and I don't get to finish downloading Angelique raws because of the lack of seeders), can we sub this? Well, if we can't then that's fine. T_T

Fun facts time! Did you know that Mamoru a.k.a. Tuxedo Kamen doesn't throw a single rose in all 14 volumes of the Sailor Moon manga? Hahaha. He's not such a loser in the manga, yay.

Just when I've started to really pick up on downloading manga again, I find I've downloaded almost everything old that looks even remotely interesting. What's left is to wait for new projects and new releases by the scanlation groups. Wah. Shoujoooooo~! I will not revert to downloading yaoi, thank you! Yes, crux_australis, even if the uke is as pretty/gay as Pico. LOL. XD

Romeo x Juliet episode 3 raws are out! I'm expecting the subs tomorrow. Ooooh~ can't wait! XD

Onto other things, my Dad's stomach suddenly started to really hurt last night. We rushed him to a hospital and found out that he has gastritis. Ouch. I had to call in at work 'cause I slept really late last night and couldn't wake up on time. What a wake-up call. My dad isn't getting any younger. He's getting more illnesses as time goes by. (I SWEAR it's because he smokes. No offense to smokers out there, but as the commercials say, cigarette smoking is really dangerous to your health.) I have to be stable as soon as possible, so I don't put too much burden on my Dad emotionally and financially. I really hope I get that scholarship. >_< *crosses fingers*

I've recently downloaded Kite, an H-movie from the same maker of Mezzo Forte. It's really great. It's rare that they make hentai that can stand on its own even if it wasn't hentai (it's the only reason I dl-ed it). The action is great (especially for Mezzo Forte). Character development is great. Even the romance is great (this is for Kite). Thanks to kalabull for burning me a copy of Mezzo Forte. I'd really recommend this for mature girls and guys (but you wouldn't need me recommending this, do you?) out there. Hahaha.

Ngayon ko lang talagang ne-realize na yung genki-ness namin sa AME, ang abnormal pala niya sa paningin ng normal people. Hahaha. Natuwa ako kasi pine-praise ako ng TL namin for being genki. Eh sa AME pa-genkihan/palakasan kaya ng fangirling. Fangirls have their advantages talaga.

Hay, naasar ako sa work kanina. Tang-ina ang tanga ng sistema. Grr. Dahil dun nawalan ako ng crush dun sa isang Ass. TL na gusto ko noon. Gusto ko sanang magkwento kaso wag nalang. Baka kung sino pang makabasa.

Ku-chan just gave me the scare of my day. After installing and uninstalling a bunch of avi to dvd converters (so I can burn chibi_jaja a dvd copy of PoT), my laptop started going wacko and my videos didn't play anymore. On the brink of despair, I almost reformatted Ku-chan. Again. But yay for Windows! I discovered the system restore feature that just saved Ku-chan's life (and mine). Phew.

I started doing my baito a week ago, and (ready yourselves, guys) I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE. Yaaaaay!! Anyone who knows me well enough wouldn't believe it when I say I wake up at 4am and I get to work 30 mins early. Hehehe. I've changed much. I'm also having a lot of fun. My trainer is fun, my co-trainees are kalog, and everything seems to be working out for me. But I've realized that there is no such thing as a perfect situation.

Rant (to a certain co-trainee) starts here:

I'm starting to really hate you right now. Yes, you, you frickin' jerk. I know you won't be able to read this, but what the hell. If you think you're the most gorgeous man alive, think again. For chrissakes, you need to get your head examined, and your eyes taken out, seriously. I sit five seats away from you and you think I like you. Ang kapal ng mukha mo. Ugh. Not only that, when I flipped my hair during first day, you said I was sending you signals?! PUHLEEEEZE!! I stroke my hair every chance I get! I want to slap you with tRANCE videos right now so I can show you that I stroke/flip my hair EVEN WHEN I'M PERFORMING!! So how can that be counted as sending you signals?! How can you be so conceited?! You're not even cute!! Hell, you're even bordering on ugly to me!! (bias here) Yes, I know that you're pathetic at English, but by God, can't you understand when I say that the jokes pairing us are SICK?!! I swear, if you don't stop harassing me like this, I'm going to verbally thrash you SO HARD in front of everyone you wouldn't want your face to be seen at the office anymore.
